When it was Luna, I tried using it because I love new programming languages. It froze my MBP completely and was an absolute pain to uninstall. I hope the rebrand and rewrite fix those issues because it seems awesome

This is fascinating because it never mentions the role of publishing in the field of science. There is a huge pressure to "publish or perish" which seems at odds with much of the advice given here.

I think if you actually knew Dr Coyne you would see your suspicions are unfounded. She is an excellent scientist and often provides research counter to what is comfortable at BYU.

Yes, but that's mainly because they use FFT for reconstruction. So you need extremely clean data. If, however, you use some significantly more sophisticated signal processing, you can side step this requirement.

This makes me happy and sad. Happy because this is some amazing technology that will have immense benefits. Sad for a selfish reason. I spent several years working to make a portable MRI device and ultimately failed. I do wish it had worked
