Makes sense. A lot of us already break the T&C's and licensing restrictions though. There has to be an easier/simpler way than Tor or Hotspot Shield.

I was actually having a conversation about this recently. A few of us were talking about how startups are almost "normal" here (Waterloo), so it doesn't seem odd to work 9am-10pm. But when you go home, people think you're crazy. It's that s

Yes, you are paying a premium. Yes, they are making a profit on this. But hey, they are solving a pain point, why not charge? I just paid $1650 for a domain. That was a ton of money for me, but when someone already has it, you don't have a

My company (GooseChase Adventures) was selected for this round and we are pretty stoked, but the 6 month commitment is a concern for me on a sales front. Any companies that have already participated have any experiences about selling to Nor

I like this move for Google, but I'm concerned it will just become a me-too move. When I want to find something to eat close-by, Yelp is perfect. Yes, Zagat integration takes away the need to switch from Yelp to Google Maps to get direction

I'm actually pretty excited for this. I was in a co-op program during university and I moved every 4 months. Finding sublets each time was an absolute pain in the ass. Let's hope they get the traction they need to pull this off.

I haven't experienced a lot of the issues he mentioned, but the amount of times that Mail has crashed on me during an auto-save is probably approaching triple digits now.

What do you say to people who have this "world changing app" and want you to make it for free? Keep in mind these are usually friends and an "eff off" isn't really viable.
