The mongoid repository ( https://github.com/mongodb/mongoid ) doesn't have issues turned on and instead points people to JIRA. That's one way to avoid users reporting issues like this - I'd see JIRA and &q

A bit of a primer on the geography when speaking about it here: Central FL is the I-4 corridor and doesn't include the coasts. (Wikipedia includes Tampa but that's nonsense) Gulf Coast and East Coast are the references to use for

The issue lies more with the fact that most users will use what's shipped as default. You see that habit in every large framework out there. And that's why it's important to ship reliable, stable defaults.

This word play isn't worth the time or effort. Shall we try to apply the meaning of full stack based on my own entry into web development in 1998 when N-Tier development was all the rage? I think not.

You claimed that "Trumpists" in general, in totality, are only pro-Isreal because it's an "owning the libs" thing. You have zero metrics or sources to back that up. You cannot claim to know the mind of every person

Will you please stop lumping vast groups of people together as if they share a hive mind? That's like saying every Democrat on the planet lives their lives by the tenets of the 1619 project. It's ridiculous.

Perhaps you're focusing solely on one aspect of the story. There's a lot more there than risk tolerance.

I spoke with a very adept founder this last fall, who was looking for a technical cofounder to evaluate and build out the platform for the company. It was a compelling idea with clear need, B2B, well-wireframed, well thought out, and she (t

I'm friends with four female founders who would absolutely laugh at this stereotypical response. Women are fully capable of having strong backbones, high confidence, and efficient bullshit filters. Founding a company takes grit, from A

Take a beat. You're conflating HN with YC. While HN is hosted by YC (moderated and run in some respects by folks who are also YC staff) it is not equal to YC. HN is a forum/news site, and yes, commenters and topics trend towards t

I recently gained entry to an NBA game out of state (away from home and without access to any valid paperwork) by using devtools to edit the results page of a test I had last year, to make it valid for that day, and then printing the page.

Why couldn't the code run from a GitHub Action or within a Lambda be type checked and in version control? All of mine are. As for uptime, it completely depends on where you host your pg instance. But I'd wager you know that alread
