Number mobility between Indian telecoms runs on private blockchain. AFAIK it is live and actively used. BC solves a problem there because operating a database for that scale would be very complicated. So every telco has their own copy that

Writing as a non-American. All if this is horrible, but it is not just the horror of US. In my former Eastern European country, that has never ever had a sizable non-white community, people are reading these books, picking up on Twitter fig

Interestingly, this market force seems to lead to media very similar to that of the USSR. The only thing currently missing (everybody agreeing with each other and adhering to a specific non-value-based narrative is there) is the media speak

IMHO it is unreasonable to expect these sorts of things to be possible to do using a big bang approach. The complexity exceeds cognitive capabilities and disaster strikes. Therefore, it is not optimal to see these projects as data migration

You are at least partially right in saying the goal of the EU is to unify the markets. But not, I think, in attributing this to neoliberalism. There’s a much simpler explanation that was very much in the minds of the architects of EU back i

I’m one of the 8 people on the planet. Simply because Alexa (and Siri) have real trouble understanding my accent. I don’t fear something I’m at liberty not using and that’s barely intelligent enough to make sense of what I say.

Oliver de Weck from MIT has done a lot of work around complexity, including deriving definitions and measures. Turns out there is an objective measure as to how many microservices is optimal. The number comes to around 2.8 connections per
