This is my dealbreaker too. When at my desk, I refuse to give up my 2x 4K displays, it is just such a productivity booster. I'm not willing to do the DisplayLink hack to get it.

I think it could be a capabilities issue. An ARM equipped Mac is a non-starter for me because my workstation is driven with a dock that has 2x 4K displays connected to it, ethernet, USB hub, etc. I'm not willing to part ways with my 2n

Yes the DMCA prohibits circumvention but I’m asking if a takedown notice is the correct legal remedy for such violations? I thought notices were just for content distribution.

IANAL but doesn’t the DMCA takedown system only apply to distribution of content itself? No RIAA member has the ownership rights to this software. It probably is illegal but I believe another legal mechanism other than a takedown notice is

These platforms aren’t being used to cover war crimes by an entity consciously trying to deliver news. These posts are first hand accounts of individuals currently living an event. It is as raw as it gets. I don’t think you can very easily

I'd say Google would be one of the most resistant organizations to social engineering by virtue of the fact that you can never really talk to an actual human even if you are a legit user and want help on an issue.
