Why did you decide to use a closed-source vector database if you do open-source? There are plenty of open-source solutions to choose from: Weaviate, Milvus, or Qdrant. https://github.com/qdrant/qdrant Disclaimer: I&#x

Pinecone - not open source. We have both OS and managed cloud https://cloud.qdrant.io Weaviate is awesome product but they have a slightly different approach. Also, you can check open source benchmarks https://qdran

With ChatGPT replacing Google search, traditional SEO is dead: how can businesses ensure their information appears in ChatGPT's single answer? The solution is in-context learning on LLMs.

FAISS is depreciating since it is just a library that does not scale and lacks a lot of vector db functionalities like filtering. ES is often used just by default because Devs have experience with but the performance is very low compared to

ES and OS are desperately slow because based on the lucene vector search index. A dedicated vector database like Qdrant will be always a better choice https://github.com/qdrant/qdrant

Pinecone is not open-source but a cloud solution only. Qdrant offers both: an open-source solution to run locally or to deploy in your own environment, and also a managed cloud platform.

Great work! Instead of faiss, you could use a standalone vector search engine like Qdrant https://github.com/qdrant/qdrant It would bring some advantages like, for example, filtering support.
