Thanks for the suggestion! Yes, I'm from Hungary. I will add an opt-out feature, but I do not think it is an analytics thing. It is used to count installed instances on the frontpage. That's all.

It depends on the server performance. The demo instance, currently running 130 applications/services/databases, and I see no performance degradation. It is only a simple VPS from Hetzner. When the Remote Docker Engine and K8s supp

Thank you for the detailed review/opinion! I love it! My vision is kinda similar to yours. I would like to simplify things as much as possible and make most things behind a single button. :) I do not want to only cover the single serve

Not yet. As Netlify (either Heroku) is huge compared to Coolify, but I will keep working on it to fill the gap. :)

No. It’s backed by the community on opencollective, or at least will be someday. I have a daytime job, so I’m not doing it for the money.

Yeah, it is clear based on the script that it sets up an UUID just to show how many instances are used (see the landing page). But you are right, I add a state why it is used. About the registration, I do not understand it. Ofc, you need to

Hey, HackerNews, Andras here! Coolify started because I was just curious if I can make it work for myself. Then after the first release (v1) and after it went a bit viral here, I quickly realized people might like it! Coolify's miss

Wow, thanks for the motivation!! I wasn't expecting this kind of "hype" around it, that's why there is no such thing on the website.

It will support other languages, not just Node.js. About Dockerfile, I do not see any problem with supporting that case as well, but not in my top priorities now. :)

Currently scaling is not possible, but most parts are built scaling in mind. I would like to support Kubernetes later on, but first Docker Swarm, which is way simpler.

Currently only the frontend code is open sourced. We are thinking to provide a self-hosted option or some mixed one (you host only the database & we do the aggregation), but it is not our top priority at the moment.
