A lot of valid arguments. But the conclusion (hate) is not constructive. LLMs are here, and they are going to stay. Like cars, internet or smartphones.

nx is not a random dependency. It's a multi-project management tool, package manager, build tool, and much more. It's backed by a commercial offering. A lot of serious projects use it for managing a lot of different concerns. This

I guess this won't help with something like nx. It's a CLI tool that is supposed to be executed inside the source code repo, in CI jobs or on developer pcs.

But you're still updating at some point. Usually to the latest version. If you're unlucky, you are the first victim, a few seconds after the package was published. (Edit: on a popular package there will always be a first victim so

Are there any package managers that have something like a min-age setting. To ignore all packages that were published less than 24 or 36 hours ago? I’ve run into similar issues before, some package update that broke everything, only to get

Edit: ^/api(/(?!v[0-9]). )?$ is v1 ^/api/v2(/. )?$ is v2 It's really not an issue in any case, it just itches your brain, because is not as neat as you would like it to be.

Switching to an incompatible/breaking API requires some rework anyway. The consumer of an API usually doesn't support multiple versions in parallel.

I don't see any harm in adding versioning later. Let's say your api is /api/posts, then the next version is simply /api/v2/posts.

Not only trees in cities do that. A lot of clogged home sewers are caused by trees that wanted more to drink. Once the sewer line is fully blocked, they've arrived in paradise. Now there is a constant supply in the permanently filled s

Imagine a follow-up call of a customer. They are referring to earlier calls and the call center agents needs to check what it was about. So they can skim/read the transcripts while talking to the customer. I guess it's really hard

Thanks for the feedback. I've stumbled upon it when it when the project was quite new, and it looked promising. kube-hetzner seems to be a bit stuck, they have a big backlog for the next major release, but it might never happen.

k3s does support running separate control plane and worker node pools. It's not just for toy-project clusters, or single node clusters. k3s can also power rather big clusters.

There is this project to deploy k3s to Hetzner via Terraform: https://github.com/kube-hetzner/terraform-hcloud-kube-hetzne... It's not the smoothest thing I've ever used, but it's all self hosted and eve

It makes me think that GPT-5 is mostly a huge cost saving measurement. It's probably more energy efficient than older models, so they remove it from ChatGPT. It also makes comparisons to older models much harder.
