Interesting scenario. If a government can tie a specific person to a specific wallet, they don't need the keys to go forward with whatever they want to do with that info. I wonder if the FBI can proclaim a certain wallet is yours and y

Yup. Because we agreed to that up front to "transfer ownership" or some jargon. Otherwise yes it is yours.

I was literally compiling a list of "agent" synonyms at lunch today. My favorite and most accurate so far is "doer".

Just watched the whole thing. Thanks! I can't get in to my Masters CS: AI program at UC Berkeley because I'm dumb, but seeing this 1st day of a Probability class kinda felt like I was beginning that program haha. I will add a grea

Wow obvious good point. Even if it was "preying mantis", plenty of creatures prey on prey without coital cannibalism. Other spiders, insects, and even snakes do similar but lack the name to warn the male of his danger.

With preying mantis and black widow it seemed, as their names suggest, very common for the female to eat the male after being boinked. However, it turns out that in the lab setting with a small closed environment, probably lots of lights an

Everything ends eventually. From your other comments, it appears your singular idea is that bitcoin will go down in value. Consider adding it to the list [0]. Bitterness at not getting in on something does not equal any sort of truth though

I am personally fine with advertisements curated to me. I intentionally interact with Instagram ads that I like to affect the algorithm, even if I don't care for the product at that moment. However, with request fingerprinting [0] and

The act of scrolling is only noticeable by the browser + Javascript per whatever cycle it's on; it's not always watched except for at certain checkpoints. To more accurately be affected by quick scrolls, save the last known y-axis

Waiting for the repo link. I will add a fork where the hamster's parachute doesn't redeploy if scrolling to fast and then the user "loses". Discourages scrolling. Might be helpful?

All current bitcoin in current existence is max $2 to $3 trillion USD. I don't think we consider all currency on the planet to equal $81 trillion USD or even half that.

Brave is my favorite so far. You can run an HTTP monitor like Charles Proxy or Fiddler in your OS if you think your browser is snooping on you. I do Brave + Ghostery and works great.

Brave has a couple crypto features in the UI but that's about it. I'm big on crypto but I don't use any of the browser's crypto features. Just a browser that cuts most of the bullshit out.

I am curious as to whether this update would need a hard fork or soft fork. Soft = backwards compatible, meaning nodes on the old code still talk to the network as before, and new nodes have extra features (I think?). This update is adding

SQL database is mutable, right? One of the biggest features of blockchain tech is that it's almost completely immutable. Something happens and it happens forever and ever.

I haven't looked into the case(s) for years, but prosecutors don't often just drop charges because other charges were found guilty. People get charged even after life sentences have been handed down.
