If the company owns it, the the (gpl or whatever) licensing was not legal, so the core devs cannot 'fork it', since that would be illegal. They can rewrite the project from scratch though.

Talk to a work contract specialized lawyer. Even apart from this issue, there might be other issues in the contract, so why not alway talk to one before signing.

Isn't it more like Amazon has 300 Million customers so 1% is 3 Million, and 0,1% IS 300000 people?

Yes, I also think it has nothing to do with base case and general case, there is just a flaw in the argument. When arguing that h2 also is brown one assumes wrongly that there are other elements in the reduced set left.

When reading the title I thought: wow this might be true, maybe all horses share the same skin (not fur) color.

Is this a US centric question? Otherwise the answer is, yes of course.

I fully agree. As a close runner up on C++ for bundling into executables is C# in my opinion.

The OP is great. And basically it is about how to print faster. I was more commenting on the fast fizzbuzz challenge itself.

I dont understand the FizzBuzz thingy. I mean isnt it just about who has the fastest print method? Correct me please, but this problem has period 15, so if you just write: for (i=1;i<n;i+=15) { print i; print i+1; print 'fizz'

Well for math matrix formulas it gets difficult to read. Like (A+B)/2 *C*(A-B)/2 is better than mulMat(skalardivide(addMat(A, B), 2),mulMat(C,skalardivide(subMat(A,B),2)))

Yes, but I am confident if there would have been demand, they would have improved on it. It can open temple doors so I do not think it is too far away from a useful machine.

Personal opinion: same reason why it didn't take off in ancient Greece (steam engine was invented back then) , no shortage of cheap labor.

If you have time and think it might be good maybe read 'lean startup' , and maybe 'crossing the chasm'. I believe sales doesn't get easier even if you have a fully fledged out product.

Not speaking from experience, but I believe you should start every day with sales. Demo doesn't need to be ready, get potential customers, feedback etc. Even the big ones start sales before the product is ready. Also if you see there i

Take as much leave now as possible and use that time to come up with a plan. A friend quit a couple of years ago, and for 18 month he couldn't decide what he wants to do. Eventually he said, 'well anything' that pays the bill

Difficult to say. The double s Form has to stay (for small and capital) to not deviate from Swiss German too much (has to stay compatible). Generally older people think capital ẞ is ugly, but maybe this will change over generations. Best be

If you read the official announcement for the German language (cited in the wiki article) there it states that SS is the capitalization of ß, but ẞ instead is permitted. So the standard Form is double S.
