I think I've mentioned this before, but nothing about SPAs require that level of bloat. My personal site ( https://chadnauseam.com/ ) uses React and SPA-type features like preloading internal pages so they load instantly

There’s ENS, which seems on sturdier footing than Handshake to me, but the gas on ethereum is ridiculous

It would be nice if people could just talk about technical blockchain stuff without the most upvotes comment every time being a wholly unrelated tangent about how cryptocurrencies are useless. I agree they’re useless, I just also find the

Loans create “virtual money” in a way, which does contribute to inflation (in fact, controlling lending is a primary way the federal reserve controls inflation)

I don’t think enough people use pihole for smart TV manufacturers to care, and encrypted DNS breaks that anyway so setting up a 5G base station in your house would be overkill

You keep saying “instant”, but in practice ethereum takes a few minutes for finality and can only handle a maximum of 50 tps. I’ll grant that both of those may improve with as zk tech matures, but even with rollups there’s no way of having

I don’t see any choice words about Handshake or ENS, only about registrars that allow people to purchase them without making it clear they won’t work on most computers in the default configuration

I largely agree with you but I’m not sure MDMA belongs here. You do see people who are addicted to MDMA, I know of someone who goes through a gram every weekend, but in most cases if you use MDMA too frequently it’ll stop feeling special. I
