Made me think of this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U4oB28ksiIo I have a moderately-locked down guest account on my computers that serves this purpose. Also useful if family want to come over and use my computer - not that they ever do.

The code on your GitHub, for the most part, seems fine. One thing I can say is don't use exec[1] if you can avoid it: $string = 'rm /var/www/Giftest/*.gif'; exec($string); While there's nothing * technically* wrong, it's platfo

Ethical stuff aside, I can't imagine hiring someone to actually produce code THIS bad. Where the hell did they find the coder to make this?

I always hated google's /url? business. It's been used by more than a few pieces of malware (back when I was on Windows). I wish Google would use the ping attribute on <a> but that's too easy to disable.

I used to love Google - I used pretty much every service they had to offer. But in the last few years I've found myself distancing from them - I've replaced all but a small few (Reader, Email and Docs) of their services and I intend to get

It's not Warning: -Data is transmitted here without encryption, directly to the other users in this WebRTC room. Use caution if sending sensitive files and communicate file passwords through a more secure channel.

I fail to see how any regulation regarding BitCoin would work in practice. I think it would be hard to prove you have a BitCoin wallet as it's a quite anonymous system. Besides, I could have my wallet.dat file on a remote server and manage

My biggest concern is if a user closes their browser window while another peer is streaming some content. I'm assuming Peer CDN connects to someone else or uses Http's Range to fetch the rest of the file off the server?

I feel like there's a shocking amount of laziness and incompetence rife in the industry. How else would so many open resolvers exist? It's like the thousands of nodes with default passwords that were used for the IPv4 census. How exactly do

Not sure about other people's experiences however the app consistently produced inaccurate results for me and often had several nasty bugs. i.e. I would see HTML in bullet points because it wasn't parsing the page properly.

I'm interested to know how Persona works server-side? AFAIK, it's entirely done in JavaScript. I can't imagine sending the browser ID over Ajax to make a session, it seems far too easy to exploit. Perhaps I'm missing something.

No grave for Google Power Meter? I feel like the only person on earth who used it.
