And how would this crypto coin thing help here? Nothing in the announcement deals with obscure, large content.

That already exists with bonuspoints within torrent communities. It works well. This Atlas thing is all about extracting real money. The owner of BitTorrent Inc is a cryptocoin scammer.

Adding money to this would easily kill the good intentions of people involved. I don't think it is a right idea.

I have not seen that flaw in ages as I am part of communities where giving and taking is rewarded with nothing but meaningless points and merit. It works fine.

Device drivers are one of the things I LOVE Linux. Instead of having to install 500 Megabytes of software from a CD or downloading 20 different vendor update tools, it usually is just plug and play. Instantly. Of course configuration is nee

Heh, I wonder if the list is correct about its Doom games. It links to the 2016 Doom as well as DOOM II: Hell on Earth (1994). Silly trend of re-using old names for new releases, they might have mean the original Doom instead...

The site uses JavaScript to render the Markdown to HTML client-side. Reminds me of when I thought XML with client-side XSLT for rendering was a good idea, lol. I enjoyed the plain markdown page though, very readable.
