Yeah I've had to build a similar menu, it's simple solution but makes a huge usability difference.

Great job mimicking the menu with just pure CSS! You even got the fade/slide down effect mostly there. From a UX perspective there's a reason they used Javascript. For example, if you hover over "Politics" and want to cl

My dad signed up for one of those sweepstakes back in the '90s. They called and said he won a "prize" but he had to come into view a "presentation". Went to the "presentation" where they tried to hustle hi

Hah! Last week I was doing some research on a typeface I had found. I was getting visibly excited while looking at my screen. My partner looks up and asks what's got me worked up. I spent about 30 seconds explaining what I found and wh

It's $2 for the first 30 minutes and then charged at a per minute rate (varies per city) after that. $0.07 per min in SF. The Ford GoBike which I think it the same program as the CitiBike is rolling out electric assist bikes now too wh

I took 3 scooters rides on a 3 miles ride to work and it roughly cost me $4 and took ~22 minutes I've taken the Jump bike several times and it usually takes just under 15 min to go the same route for only $2 Faster and cheaper wins! :)

I've ridden the electric scooters a few times and while I understand the joy the author found I disliked them compared to other options. I honestly think the electric bikes (Jump/GoBikes) that are coming out are better options. Fo

The family plan is honestly the best feature hands down. I setup my partner and my mom in it. There was some resistance at first to learning a "new thing". But now they love that they only have to remember one secure password and

I think it was just the editor trying to create a strawman. The only objection I saw was an AMC exec saying their pricing model is flawed. That's not really hating it's existence.

I love that Microsoft manages to insert a "Clippy" like modal on top of the marketing page while I'm watching the video. I mean at least fix the squished text in that graphic ya'll. https://i.imgur.com/V5

This has always worried me. Once you're through the scanner you're free to loiter at the end of the conveyor belt. No one will bother you and I doubt TSA will blink an eye if you were to grab something and put it in your bag.

My only problem with scooters is the assholes who ride on the sidewalk and then run into you. I could care less if they want to ride in the street without a helmet. Good luck with that.
