I love this idea, but as somebody (who happens to be a woman who has never asked for a raise), he doesn't answer the question of how to start this conversation. I think that having a few talking points to get started would be really be

This is how I use DayOne ( http://dayoneapp.com/ ). All backed up in Dropbox, and it alerts me once a day to write things down.

Just wanted to say that the onboarding for this is fantastic. It made me understand/explore way more than I normally would. I really wanted all those things in the help list to be checked off! I plan on giving this app a whirl for the

What helped me to write better was to read great writing. That includes novels and long form non-fiction.

That sounds a lot like sleep paralysis, which I've experienced while trying to induce lucid dreaming.

Case study of one, but I've been a (lacto-ovo) vegetarian for roughly eight years now. I do eat a lot of pasta and cheese (because I find it delicious). I've always had a high metabolism, and I actually have trouble gaining weight

I have a friend who works for a large software company (SAS), and he works 9-5 with an hour lunch in the middle.

I use it to pay my dogwalker/dogsitter. It was so much easier than leaving cash on the table or trying to futz around with Paypal. She's not that technologically savvy, so needing only her email address was great. I've also u

I loved using Nextdoor in my last neighborhood. I found a dog walker, got some free yarn, and had a better sense of who my neighbors were. I don't have the time to dedicate to being a neighborhood leader, though, so I haven't set

I too don't like the name that they've given the "leash" feature. It seems like it just alerts you when your dog has gotten away... which is often too late to do anything about.

I definitely don't. Although I did go through and fill out the profile after seeing this comment. No new tasks, though.

I've been teaching with Girl Develop It. If you have a chapter in your area, I highly recommend it! Both men and women can attend/teach, although its main goal is to promote more women in tech.

The only way I've been able to avoid burnout is to be deeply involved in things outside of work. I work a 9-6 front-end development job, but I also teach people how to train their dogs once a week, I write creatively for my own purpose

I find that the smaller niche subreddits have that vibe. I subscribe to /r/dogtraining which has loads of valuable information and a ton of helpful, active users.

Is there a final video of the example given? I see it all the way up to the mesh with the glasses, but after that, it's just still shots.

This is definitely true. We're always on the lookout for Drupal devs, although we don't hire remote workers.

I was surprised by the amount of fares that just went a few blocks. Looks like it should have been pretty walkable in a lot of those cases.

If all else was equal (fit, quality of material, looks), and they could actually be worn for a full day without getting "full," I'd give it a shot.

I have a markdown resume as well, but I just used Marked[0] to convert it to a nicely-formatted PDF. Then again, I've never needed to submit a MS Doc file. [0]: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/marked/id44

We used this tutorial at a Girl Develop It workshop last year. It worked really well! I also learned jQuery via Code School on my own time the year before that. Keep up the good work!

I've been paying the ~$20/month for awhile now. I'm totally happy with that, and I don't think that's an unreasonable expense, especially if you're using it professionally.

I tend to track things I'm trying to improve on or get in the routine of doing. Checking something off as being done is very satisfying to me. I've been using an iOS app called Balance (no affiliation to them) to do this, and it
