If the user isn't going to take the security of the app you built seriously, you the app developer has to. It never looks bad for the user to get their data breached. It always looks bad and can do lasting damage to a company if an app

Interesting thoughts. I think one of the draws of email for us is that it is an open technology. The other platforms for communication are great too, we just think that part of emails staying power is the result of it having open protocols.

It is also true that computer science curriculum doesn't really cover anything but a specific subset of the software development jobs out there. The same may not apply to other STEM fields, but it is certainly true for software.

I agree 100% I often argue with a lobbyist friend of mine about their (lobbyists) role in the ecosystem. Right now the paradigm seems to be hire lawyers to serve in Congress because lawyers know how to write potential laws. Leave it to lobb
