It can also be relatively carbon-neutral, if you pull most of the plastic out of the waste stream first. The rest is going to be mostly wood, paper and cardboard.

How expensive/complicated would it be to process the mined coal to remove the uranium. That element is significantly heavier than carbon so chemically and/or physically it should be possible. Of course, better to just stop burning

I dislike voice commands. I have tried using speech-to-text for text messages and emails, and I usually spend more time correcting the mistakes than it saves.

I don't think it's made up but I think there's a good chance we're wrong about the cause. The theory is not falsifiable. There are too many interacting variables. The models have all been fit to the data and not vice ver

I hate talking to computers, so I don't see a voice assistant in my future ever. I'm in my early 50s by the way, and have been coding since I was in high school. Maps/navigation is the only reason I even have a smartphone.

Amtrak is hands-down the worst passenger rail service I've ever used, out of services in four different countries. I will say I've never used Amtrak in the Northeast which I understand is somewhat better than the rest of the count

Okay, but technically you're storing the energy in the environment, not in the cold reservoir. Maybe a distinction not worth making.

You have gone from a hypothetical to concluding that people in the US die because they can't afford cancer drugs. If your dad was over 65, he would be on Medicare. If he was younger than 65 and impoverished (income between 0 - ~150% of

It depends entirely on the employer. Some places will require a doctors note if you miss more than two shifts. So in places like that, people typically go to work sick, and just spread the disease. This includes most fast food restaurants s
