Thanks for the suggestion. So I would basically write the pointer information (that would have been written to the database) to a temporary file instead? Do you think this improves performance significantly?

Thanks. It seemed to me in the beginning that HIDDEN fields were a very clumsy solution. Now I understand why they indeed are. We use PHP as our server side scripting language. I was thinking of using the $_SESSION variable but attributes a

That's helpful. Thanks. Maybe I am overthinking too much about optimization. It doesn't seem like updating a bunch of columns with text will result in significant time savings.

Sorry if I am not being clear. I am not uploading each image as a BLOB. Rather, I am storing a bunch of strings in the database that will later help me point to the actual image (which is first stored in the local webserver but is pushed in

Also, I didn't want to write to the database each time someone uploads an image. I just wanted to queue all these writes and do it at once in the end when a user commits to make all the changes. That would save some processing time right? T

Not sure what you meant. Could you elaborate? The form basically accepts input until a user reaches the 30 image limit. A user can then hit the confirm button if he/she is satisfied and wants to commit all the changes.

Interesting idea but its a little abstract for me. Looking at the same queries might be helpful in understanding how this works but clicking on most of them gave me blank pages.

The agreement is really basic, spelling out what share of the profits each person will get. Of course, at that time, all of us understood that our ownership will be diluted based on any future investment that we might receive. Looking back,

No. We are not incorporated. We are not really a startup still. So far, we are just a bunch of guys working in a basement and trying to get a working demo ready.

Thanks for the suggestion. Is it possible to come up with another agreement that voids the previous one already signed? What happens to the 10% we initially gave him?

Thats a hard one. Something witty will get you recognized if it sticks. But a lot of startups these days have 'witty' unusual names and it doesn;t stand out as much anymore. I would shoot for a straight forward domain name thats easy to rem

Thats interesting. All I hear about is VC backed startups so it is refreshing to see some self-funded ones. In my mind, it seems a startup can only be sufficiently self-funded if it has a viable business model. How has your experience been
