Almost all developers I personally know use a Mac. I know a few that use Linux on occasion. I personally know of no developers that actively use Windows for writing code. However, I'd argue that using the OS you use for development

I use Lyft Line several times a month, and have found it to be nicer than Uber Pool. I guess YRMMV (your ridesharing mileage may vary).
