I’m surprised at the negativity in this reply. Can you offer some more explanation as to what you mean by the non-compliment SICP ref?

I love custom keyboards. Sharing work like this is pretty inspiring. All I’ve done is solder two ergodox’s from massdrop, but it was a blast.

This is a bummer. :-(. I only had this happen a long time ago with a iTunes code-provided copy of Shrek. Every other movie I’ve purchased has worked across generations of devices and stuff since the first iPad. I’m curious if I’m just lucky

Lynx is niche now? Low user count, yeah, but it’s a standards complaint browser.

Do religious groups in the US, specifically, Christians, talk about the history of the King James Bible? Why is it, uh, trusted by so many, when stuff like this hints at a storied construction?

TIL about this person, Tse Chi Lop. It’s interesting to me to read about this type of crime lords genesis. The stories are always amazing.

Why does this argument get made so much? Why is it assumed that the market will behave this way?

by amerine 7y ago
Exactly. No way does it take 50 people to scales mattermost to 5k because of smtp. This op made that all up.

Special purpose silicon is almost always faster and offloading stacks of IO cycles from the main cores is definitely a great thing.

I agree with you. Which is why I find the companies valuations to be, uh, silly.

Imagine you work for, say, IBM, and your badge grants you a desk, on-demand, at any WeWork office. Or, let’s pretend that you, still at big blue, want a dedicated space for a small project, you work with your WeWork rep to secure a secure d

Since they don’t own any buildings I bet we see the WeWork ceo sell the buildings and or move to establish small clones of WeWork with local contracts.

“Just strongarms” feels an awful lot like you are coming with your own perspectives. I definitely did not read it that way.

Maybe he doesn’t give a shit? For example, if I make 250k/year and you offer me another 20k a year, but I have to add >10% additional work to my plate... nah.
