Sorry, didn't see your comment till now... About the last point - yes, there is a ticket about it (too lazy to find it now ;). The first ticket is a bit different. Starting depending jobs automatically would be great, but I would be sa

Cool, but I would appreciate it more if they fixed some relatively small (probably) and very annoying UX bugs: - why can't we schedule manual jobs to be started when dependencies are finished? - on merge request, Discussions tab,

Genuinly curious: is there a (relatively cheap) cloud vendor that doesn't do that? MS & G seem pretty similar to me...

Actually it says: Disclaimer This is not an officially supported Google product. Besides, what does it matter? It's a nice hack, but that's it. Noone will play Netflix over it... well, probably.

I know you're joking, but that's an interesting idea... I wonder how would the system "see" your head then? Unless it is trained on people wearing tinfoil hats (and aluminium suits) it might produce interesting results.

Sure it is. It commoditizes trust, making audit logs easily accessible and cheap for many many companies. Besides, which auditing company do you trust?

Bad application of technology doesn't (necessarily) mean that technology sucks. Not that I care for most projects in blockchain sphere, as 95% of them are scam and 4.9% naive / misguided. But blockchain does have its uses, it'

I am genuinly curious about your view, so please be patient with me when answering. The way I see it, someone is providing a free product and is maintaining it. They are even doing (imho) a great job. Of course, that costs money - and we on

This is not what this is about. This is similar to figuring out that copying a file also executes it (in some cases). While I try not to run code I don't trust, I have much more liberal point of view when it comes to cloning it. I assu

If it bothers you enough, take a look at ZigBee switches. Not sure I understand how you operate the blinds (since the current switches are apparently not on powerlines?), but you could still make a centralized solution to control them over

Honest question: why would someone use this instead of React? From my point of view, React solved a real problem. JS before React (at least old-skool, with jQuery & co.) was simply unmaintainable. It was often easier to thow old project
