Thank you for sharing this. Regarding behavior, do intact male dogs also attract aggressive behavior towards them? My (intact male) dog isn't aggressive, but a few times now other dogs have attacked him (not resulting in serious injury

I definitely read that as a joke. Like...'my dog wasn't even attracted to the Shih Tzu anyway!'.

By worse, do you mean his recovery was worse? Longer, harder? I'm planning to make the decision by the time he turns 1, in a few months. While my dog isn't aggressive by any stretch, he is extremely high energy. I do wonder if neu

Neutering a male dog can increase the risk of certain health conditions, including bone cancer, obesity, and hypothyroidism [0]. Not neutering is also associated with certain health risks as well. So it's not clear cut without diving

1) My dog. Does this count as hardware? :) It is not an overstatement to say he's changed my life. 2) iPad + Apple Pencil. I can access the ever-elusive flow state by drawing/sketching/coloring with the drawing program ProCre

I'm faced with this decision now, and am leaning towards not neutering my pup. At the very least, I'll be waiting until he's one year old, when most of his sexual development has wound down. The vets I've been to have bo

This may not be recent, or lesser known, but one thing I appreciate more and more, and I believe is becoming more prevalent is the ability to exit a modal by clicking anywhere in the dead space surrounding it. Saves a click, and since the t

This is so neat! Curious how you monetize this? From what I can quickly glean all of the content is free.

I'm glad you've found that. I'm sure it's possible here too, although with more effort, but with pandemic, and my general introverted nature, it's been very hard to do.

There's a difference between mere acceptance (legal and social), and ability to flourish, no? And banning conversion therapy, that seems like a super low bar for LGBT friendliness. I am merely tolerated where I currently live, but when

As a PM I sometimes get asked a question, typically by Engineering, and I think the ability to answer this question well is an embodiment of the role. It can take different forms but it's basically: "Why?" Why build X over Y?

Replace a few words here and there and this almost sounds like how we deal with climate change, too.

I often do this too, but I'm starting to feel what might be the pains of a stomach ulcer. Has this bothered your stomach? I'm worried about what all that coffee is doing on my empty stomach.

Nice idea, but for better or worse I equate Notion with work. So, I would rather not be reminded of work when organizing my personal life.

What dietary changes? Idk if what I have is heartburn but the past 2 months or so I have been waking up to horrific stomach aches. Taking a round of Prilosec seems to have helped it. But I may want to backpedal on it given this news.

Right there with you. I got relatively used to Notion, then a co-worker and I started collaborating on a Google Doc and it felt refreshingly...serious? I'm not sure how to describe it other than I took it more seriously than I do Notio

Naive question: how is this better than each of these states doing its own thing (even if those things end up looking similar)? What does California gain by teaming up with WA and OR, for example?

You do not need an MBA to be a PM. Unless you expect other serious ROI on it (which is plausible), I would save yourself the time and money. I moved from EM to a PM role. Did this at a startup where I expressed interest/aptitude in pro
