Typically takes at leat 7 years to get NZ citizenship (except for Peter Thiel) -- 2 for Permanent Residency then another 5 years for citizenship. 6 years of which you have to actually live in NZ . That's a fairly long-winded "back

I'd suggest looking into kops ( https://github.com/kubernetes/kops ) for Kubernetes on AWS, whether you let it take the actions or you tweak/use the Terraform config it can generate

iOS 10 issue I've had, haven't heard of many others with it? When you answer incoming calls if it hasn't been rebooted in a few days -- the call timer ticks but no audio happens. Press the keypad/speaker/etc buttons

Easy way to cause it -- connect something that's got it's own cheapo AC power supply (eg. phone charger, speakers) to your computer via USB. The DC grounds are linked via USB, but the different power supplies end up with a wildly

For us, a `X-Request-ID` header is generated by any app if it doesn't receive it from upstream -- but normally nginx or the CDN will generate it. There's a few nginx modules to do it, we use https://github.com/newo

My BT HomeHub5 has been pretty unreliable - regular dropouts of Wifi from some Macs, similar to the DHCP thing that OP described. Then monthly reboots when everything stops. Performance is pitiful, but I blame that on the ADSL1 :)

Upselling? Why did several fuel stations pull out their pay-at-pump systems and force you to go into the store to pay -- so they can sell you more stuff you didn't originally intend to by (that they also make better margin on).

Plenty of countries will ask if you've ever been refused entry to any country. And you're also generally automatically excluded from any Visa Waiver Programme from then on too. So it's a major issue.
