I think I might be the one to expect too much on second thought. Making a language and a game is one thing, making a good language and a good game is something else entirely. Very few people can do either of those on their own, let alone bo

Holy cow the diversity of skill sets required to do this is insane. I'll be very impressed at any Devs who takes this on solo.

Clippy was pretty universally hated back in it's day though. The way it just refused to let you do anything without it's help was annoying. People complain about getting AI shoved down their throats. Clippy was worse in this regar

I wish other countries would take it this seriously. Somewhat ironically, Iceland might be the country best suited by nature to handle the cold that would descend upon the Nordics if the gulf stream collapsed. At least they have plenty of v

I think we're comparing different things. While you appear to be talking about financial size, I meant in terms of technical capability. Financially, yes. American companies are obviously larger. How else would they be acquiring all th

I feel like this sentiment comes at least partially from American companies(especially Microsoft) habit of buying successful European tech companies, making people believe they're American and not European. There is plenty of European

The problem here isn't resisting those forces, that's all well and good. The problem is the vast masses falling under Turing's Law: "Any person who posts a sufficiently long text online will be mistaken for an AI."

I very much doubt it. Never seen an AI consistently miss capitalising the first letter of each sentence for example. The style is efficient in a way that just screams software dev to me. AI's are needlessly verbose. This guy is borderi
