I have read all of his comments, in the context they were posted, and my position stands. I have no desire to debate his opinions with strangers on the internet, my fear is how misinformation can be spread by clickbait 'journalism&#x27

I wouldn't call that boring, there's still a lot of new technology being used in that stack. I'd also recommend some minor improvements to the workflow (e.g. don't do development work on the master branch) that are easy

I think we should be more worried about the control that media (and especially clickbait-worthy online media) can exert over our lives. It's clear to anyone who has done their research, that his quotes were taken out of context or mis-

I had this issue with Air New Zealand - one of their sites was truncating the password field on one of the pages, but not on another page. Took me ages to figure out why sometimes I couldn't log in.

Really not sure. I've always just done it with tasksel. If "apt install xubuntu-core" gives the same result, then there's no need to install tasksel first.

I do this often but a little less complicated than what is proposed here. * Start with an Ubuntu Server base * Install tasksel: sudo apt install tasksel * Install the Xubuntu core desktop: sudo tasksel install xubuntu-core * Install XRDP: s

I'm not seeing any allegations or evidence of him being a sexual predator. Weinstein was accused of rape by several women and had many other women accusing him of other sexual misconduct.

I did read the article first, and what I meant was: is there any allegations of illegal behaviour in relation to what the blogs are all reporting on (i.e. the sex ring).

Are there even any allegations of illegal behaviour? And what is a "sex ring" anyway? Is it like a swingers club, or something more sinister?

I don't see any relevance to comparing him to Weinstein?

The capitalisation is confusing, but "Mi" means "mebi" - either Mib for mebibits or MiB for mebibytes. The correct term for 1024 * 1024 bits is a Mib, and, 1024 x 1024 x8 bits is a MiB.
