Why is this a gem? It's two view helpers and like 30 lines of Ruby code, if that. I've solved this problem the same way probably 5 times in rails apps and it's super easy to build this interface in yourself without taking on

That's the quote that jumped out to me too. I moved to Chrome about 5-6 years ago, and I'm utterly shocked that they haven't done this yet. I remember this being the reason I switched to Chrome. And they still haven't do

I read through the differences, and they seem small enough that for any decently sized project with a non-trivial team you'd choose React and in most cases probably not even consider Vue.

I like databases that don't require you run a specific browser for it to work, but what do I know? I thought we got over "you must run this browser to have the app work" stuff when we all got off IE6. I understand the use cas

In multiple places, especially towards the end, the author touches on negative feedback loops as much as positive ones. That said - in a zero sum game for resources, a positive feedback loop is in itself a negative feedback loop for others.

I'm still in the Rails/Bootstrap/jQuery camp. When you need something quick, that will function, and not look like shit - you really can't beat this option. It's also easy to teach junior developers, and they streng
