Sorry, git blame might be able to hold people accountable for their decisions. This is the reason it would take revolution or something equally disruptive to introduce it.

Not really.cthere are competitors but they suck too. I use reason with them most of the time. Once You Are transfered to the loyalty department it doesn't even matter. In some cases, just ask yo be transfered to loyalty. Losing $30 a m

Interesting. I do feel as though Rails could replace PHP as a mindshare as time goes on.

I've heard Google is working on "street view" for trails. It is a backpack. My guess is they've done this with Bike trails too.

I think its a neat concept that definitely has legs. That said, all of the things they were going to do with the $100k makes me feel like these guys don't know what things cost.

Fair point. I feel like us server folk have figured that part out by now at least, the Javascript stuff is still quite the wild west on the client.

Watch Microsoft pull something amazing on the mobile front that isn't Java, just watch! I'm not really trying to be snarky, but the gridlock could mean the death of Android. Instead of trying to actually resolve that difference as

This is the single most important trick for factoring out shitty code. I cannot believe how many times reification collapsed complexity in our code base, or how not using it was the source of bugs. If you have cascading ifs, there is a good

This can be solved with standard IDEs. Putting two modules or classes into a single file pretty much guarantees a level of coupling. This does not reduce complexity.

I think its a little misleading to call it "anti-technology." The point is our tech is so primitive it takes all of our concentration to operate it. Holding onto this idea will truly bring us to the next level.
