> JavaScript programmers have been mind-fucked into thinking that JavaScript is a good programming language In the same way that English-language speakers have been mind-fucked into thinking that English is a great language?

Definitely Hong Kong. I just came back from a holiday there and the bus ride from the airport to Kowloon amidst towering brutalist apartments made me feel like I'm entering a dystopian metropolis.

Aren't there opportunities for arbitrage given the zero transactional costs on Robinhood? I haven't thought it through that much, but it feels like a lot of sound trading strategies (which were previously impractical due to high t

I'm a solo founder (although I'm currently talking to someone who might want to join as a co-founder) and also a lot older than the usual YC profile and based in Singapore. Also eagerly waiting and will be keeping my fingers cross

What percentage of YC companies are founded by solo founders? And what observations do you have of such companies viz-a-viz companies with founding teams? Would you advise someone against being a solo founder? If not, is it much harder fo

The beauty of open source is that you're free to fork the repo to include your own tooling if you so wish. Those who share the same concern as you can then go ahead to use your fork. Nobody is pushing anyone to use Expo's SDK.

How do Catholics (or Protestants) reconcile evolution with the Creation of Man then? Did God create Man or did he create the laws of natural selection that created Man?

I hope Google does something about this. The problem with spam is that once you're on the spammers' lists, it's virtually impossible to get off it.

Wix has been pushing the envelope on React Native and are one of the larger organisations who have embraced it fully. They've released a few videos on YouTube talking about their move to React Native and their underlying infrastructure

This has been a sore point for many communities (see the Digital Nomads + React communities). But if Slack were smart about it, they'll realise that there's an opportunity here. They are a very well-funded company and it wouldn&#

I really can't understand why Slack doesn't just go with a native app (to address performance issues on Electron). They're a big enough company to work on developing platform-specific apps which would totally improve the user

What's stopping this from happening again? Why can't a non-partisan Movement 2.0 (or 3.0) be started now that can spur greater grassroot involvement in the political process? Sure, we're seeing elements of it in the Women&#x
