Counter point: install ublock origin on firefox mobile (which you cannot do on chrome) and the web is very noticeably faster on firefox.

I see. They say you can solve every problem with an other indirection, and ad hoc polymorphism is an instance of that. But there are other ways to enable composition that are seldom reached for when your language makes that easy

Interesting. What are the program architecture tradeoffs you are suggesting?

Isn't that forecasting a trend with too few data points? The field is still young and changing.

It's really interesting how we are not able to think about an organization differently from how we think about a single individual. Our brain it's sure strange.

Have this strategy ever worked? Doesn't the "wider audience" of not "opinionated techy" people usually end up following those who are more passionate about the thing? I recommend Firefox for every pc/mobile dev

I don't dislike the ui per se, but the tabs have clearly been designed by someone that does not use firefox. I challenge any person to look at firefox with other tabs open in a Container context and guess which tab is the active one.

I still have to support IE11 and the fact that it doesn't support modern API its one of the reasons I hate it with passion. Something like not supporting css variables is seriously limiting. As second place I'll put the unusable d

I've really liked Prolog during university, but I've never used a constraint solver embedded in Prolog. Do you know of any non commercial Prolog system with this kind of integration to play with? I remember using SWIProlog at the

Hooks are a big shift towards a more fine grained reactive programming in terms of API. However even vdom vs reactivity systems is not an obvious choice, since they have their tradeoffs. The same conflict is much more visible in vue. Thankf

Svelte does two things very well: it's easy to integrate with other vanilla and not js technologies and opens up the space of your solutions. You don't have to have full buy in in it. You are not forced to do things how the framew

If you wanted to have a second spare phone, the OP3 is easily serviceable, if you are inclined to do so. I've dropped the phone bending the power button, opened the phone (two screws on the bottom) and replaced the piece with ease.

Same. A part from some audio issues has been a great phone. I'm struggling while looking for a good replacement. Phones these days are going in awful directions. Way too big, way too bulky with useless (for me) cameras, awkward screen

Vlad Mihalcea is awesome! However, Hibernate, while helping in some use cases, in my opinion should not be the default solution one reaches for. It makes way too easy to do things in a way that works for a while and explodes later. And it i
