I am guessing the capability and capacity would be limited in some way by compute. They are probably thinking of a dedicated agent that could be computing 24/7 trying to solve some problem assigned.

This is awesome! A good weekend project for me. :-) I see an old phone I have supported on LineageOS. I am assuming once the alternate OS is flashed, there is no way of going back to the original? Or would a factory reset get the origin

+1. There are many companies (startups) in AI these days that are just creating prompts/templates. Their value addition is just from more experimentation with models and prompts than an average user. I agree this wouldn't be muc

Thanks. >> Apple seems to be using LPDDR, but HBM will also likely be a key tech. SK Hynix and Samsung are the most reputable for both. So not much Micron? Any US based stocks to invest in? :-)

Would like to understand how this is done. Is this flashing some unofficial Android version? What hinderances does this cause -- can you run typical apps? The apps I use most often are WhatsApp, LinkedIn, Uber, Outlook, etc. Thanks.

Two questions for the fellow HNers: 1. What are various average joe (as opposed to researchers, etc.) use cases for running powerful AI models locally vs. just using cloud AI. Privacy of course is a benefit, but it by itself may not justi

What would be good resources for me to learn about the (digital) gaming world from an entrepreneur's perspective? I am a general developer, otherwise am a complete newbie to gaming (played Mario once with my son). Thanks.

Side question: Do these animations linked to scrolling add some real value to the readers? Is there some experimental data showing value (e.g., conversion rate) over a static page? Thanks.

Newbie comment: I am finding PyTorch over CUDA to be so bloated. The cumulative sizes of the of the binaries + drivers is often adding to more than a baseline LLM model that carries so much knowledge. And now, each new AI app is packagin

Newbie question: It seems like even with VPN, various websites know the time zone the traffic is coming from (perhaps the browser or the OS reveals the time zone settings). Is there a way to mask this?
