SubX seems like an assembly language itself following a subset of x86 32-bit instructions. Would looking into this help me understand how to translate from assembly to machine code manually? Thanks.

This is cool! This is how I used to do also by embedding hand-written machine code within a BASIC program and calling it to run natively.

Ever tried writing machine code (not assembly) by hand? I used to do that a few decades back for an 8-bit microprocessor. I am still looking for good resources on how to do that for a modern processor.

The additional important point, of course, is that there are many more 'Why' questions to be asked (often more interesting, and more important than corner cases like human-scale magnetism) that do not get asked just because of fam

Have signed up. It says there's another signup from my location, but is failing to show me. It just redirects to the home page. It is showing for another city, so perhaps due to the space in the name? Thanks. meet.hn/city/

For the exam problems it gets wrong, has someone cross-checked that the ground truth answers are actually correct!! ;-) Just kidding, but even such a time may come when the exams created by humans start falling short.

+1. Someone recently hinted at the opposite angle: Give them a lot of money and their motives would move to safeguarding their jobs, which results in a higher level of corporate politics.

This is great! Hope it works on a Windows 11 machine too (I often find that when Windows isn't explicitly mentioned, the code isn't tested on it and usually fails to work due to random issues).

Am not the OP, however, I have similar observations too. I noted that people who read fiction often handle various life's situations better. My hypothesis is that this would be because they get broader exposure to life's situati

I understand that assembly file can be parsed in the same way. However, I want to learn about the machine instructions to the level of bits, and likewise the layouts of binary files. Unless I am able to go all the way to machine code load
