Like a thread spawned to do some work and wound down on completion like countless other threads that are also running in parallel. Does a individual thread's identity count? May be it does may be it doesn't.

And why $15? Should they pay that much in a really poor country. What about a really rich one (may be Switzerland)? End of the day quality of living is totally dependent on local conditions (barring gadgets like ipricy)

May be it will finally let Linux distros have a teeny tiny foothold on mobile ? May be the stuff that is difficult today - interfacing with the hardware can be delegated to the native OS and guest OS can focus on providing more features.

Wow that's actually quite insightful. There are theories on cell death after some generations, dna damage etc. But I'm not sure how they explain the refresh during birth/zygote formation. Could it be that birth is nothing but

With the rent seeking companies being from Europe? Not a chance. Nobel is a political tool that's mostly there to make a point (especially that peace prize).

So finally the greening of programming languages! Kind of hard to argue with the article's premise. Though all languages aren't equal for all tasks. For example, its hard to use Rust for web projects because the ecosystem isn&#x27

Any idea why that was deemed as inadequate? General lawyery assholeness or something genuine? FWIW, I'm always happy to give my dob to these websites. Its the epoch of course. Memorable for me and boring for them.

What about Linux? I guess there isn't enough market for laptop makers to even bother releasing arm laptops unless Windows supports it.

Wayland still doesn't handle fractional scaling as well as x11 (at least for my laptop) and the text blurriness with fractional scaling is really a show stopper. X11 just works though. Hopefully they will iron out the last of the bugs
