The thing is, Googles self-driving cars won't get to you overnight. We may already have the technology, but it's too complex/costly for a normal car yet. (70k$ radar, a rack of servers) But what you will get is more and more autonomous feat

I didn't say it's an cache system. I said that it effectively is a caching system. You won't notice much difference to a write back cache.

The title is misleading. They only test thorium in an already built conventional reactor. Meanwhile in Germany they developed a conceptionally more safe reactor type powered by thorium, built a test reactor ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AV
