One question before I spend 50k training a model: but does it work? IE, does the income yield outpace the cost of training? I'm assuming that the model needs to be retrained at some frequency, though I'm guessing some of that retr

Docker compose allows you to specify multiple docker containers all running on a single host. It makes setting up multiple services on a single piece of hardware relatively simple and repeatable.

That's John 1:1 in the New Testament. The Bible begins in Genesis with a one week period of entropy reduction. "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth", a summary of the following three or four chapters.

There is a middle ground of self hosted solutions that get the job done with less hassle. For example, Ghost has payment systems integrations. I'd imagine there's a docker container ready to go for deployment.

Search YouTube for "Unreal" film previews. There are so many out there that were all realized with the Unreal engine. Maybe it's the algorithm, but all I see is stuff done in Unreal and I haven't seen anything done in Un

This is one of those cases where the website would benefit from a video or screenshots above the fold. I want to know what it looks like, how the UI flows from thing to thing, etc.

The fractional reserve system and its associated fiat currencies will always drive "banking" as a service in the same direction: loans that become increasingly predatory. The root problem isn't the banks, per se, rather the p

I'd be curious to hear you expand on this point. I think I see what you're saying, but I'd love a little more detail.

I once put the back seats down in my station wagon and loaded 0.75T of soil in 40lb bags. My suspension didn't like that, but the car did just fine.

Funny enough, the modern consumer Hummers were built on Chevy Suburban chassis for a long time. I have no clue what they're using now, but for the H2 (and I think the H3?) its just an uglier suburban.

I've considered one of the heavier duty Sprinter style vans. Good towing capacity. All the cargo space you'd ever need, all the seating you'd ever need. Does it look as good as a new Dodge Ram? No, not really. But it has way

I like the Biden stickers. :D Shutting down the pipeline out of Canada during his first week in office and promising to be hard on oil companies made all the oil related businesses go into turtle mode. It's basic cause and effect.
