Actually, you might be onto something! If I test with explicit quoting in terminal, BSD and GNU produce the same behavior:(`env 'bash -c "echo hello"'` fails while `env -S 'bash -c "echo hello"'`) wor

Interesting, I guess it is indeed a BSD thing, cause this works for me with or without '-S' on Mac

Thanks, but the main question is how come the behaviour is still the same whether you pass the flag or not? I would get it if it just failed without "-S" but it works as intended. I am wondering if this is cause I might not be usi

If I may interject, does anyone have any idea why the `-S` flag is required? Testing this out on my machine with a BSD env, `/usr/bin/env -S uv run --python 3.11 python` and `/usr/bin/env uv run --python 3.11 p

Do we know if it's possible to filter plasma for PFAS to avoid transfering it to others?

I only recently switched to uv and previously used pyenv, so this was more relevant to me before. There is a case when pip might not be pointing to the right python version, while `python3 -m pip` ensures you use the same one as your enviro

I personally found Qwen2.5 Coder 7B to be on pair with deepseek-coder-v2:16b(but consumes less RAM on inference and faster), so that's what I am using locally. I actually created a custom model called "oneliner" that uses Qwe

There is also watchexec[1]. I like the fact that is it shipped as a sinle binary, so it's pretty easy to distribute [1] https://github.com/watchexec/watchexec

To be fair, getting fingerprints and photo taken is a standard nowadays for many countries in the world, especially if you need to apply for a visa. My guess would be that this is a norm for the majority of people not from the first-world c

Agree with with everything, if there was a way to use something besides icloud that would be very appreciated. I have nothing against it but the more options there are, the better.

Thanks for the linked article! I was looking for a local vision model to recognize my handwritten notes, and this article provided a good TLDR about doing this in Ollama. I think Ollama can improve TLDR and add more attribution to llama.cpp

That's great, I've struggled with this problem a lot. To double-check, this essentially allows you to specify a default app that is being opened when you click on a file via Finder or via terminal's `open` program, correct? I

Is there any good resource about class decorators specifically? It is more common to see function decorators in the wild, so my knowledge about the class ones is negligible at best

The fact that even in the test example it took ripgrep 0.115 s with 97% CPU usage vs Krep's 0.106 s with 328% CPU usage is a testament of why ripgrep is still preferable. Such a huge tradeoff in resource consumption for such a small sp

I agree; being able to export is super important for keeping records, and it's definitely my top request. Having a local app instead of a web app would be great too.

I am surprised that this is working, as I always thought that variables get initialized after the full command is parsed. So, I would assume that $_ would be related to the previous command (defined by a new line) and not this one, because
