A note for other boxes, especially the nVidia Shield. It's my top blocked client on my home network with pi-hole. It tries to connect to api.segment.io every 30 seconds.

"Windows Defender is a performant alternative ..." No it's not really [1]. You can check by yourself running `npm install` of any medium sized project or if you are a gamer, launch Steam with/out Defender. Even IntelliJ

I wanted to give a genuine praise for Fastmail in this post but upon looking up my signup year at Fastmail service (2014), I have noticed that they have increased the yearly price of my old (not available anymore) Family plan from $25 to $3

One possible problem is when devices start to use their own hardcoded DoH resolver. Today, Chromecast devices use their own resolver (still standard DNS), tomorrow, they might use DoH resolver. Worse, think about apps starting to do that on

There is at least one advantage I believe for using Sandboxie instead of Windows Sandbox: performance. Using Win Sandbox, Edge sandbox, Defender application guard or Docker for Windows enables Hyper-V system wide and makes your current host
