Something similar I made a while back for those interested in hosting their own file-upload service via S3. You can configure S3's object expiration to delete/expire files after a set amount of days. I still use it today for sendi

Good work. The minimal design is an example of less design == good design.

Ha, right! Especially since the URLs can get very lengthy depending on the message.

Something not too far off that I made a couple of years ago for fun. Stores small snippets of data in the URL. https://github.com/alfg/jot with demo.

Also, in case anyone is interested, I open-sourced the backend restful interface for administering Mumble servers in which this project is built off of. https://github.com/alfg/murmur-rest Still needs work and more doc

I agree. I plan to increase the upgrade sizes or offer more variety.

Yep, this was the idea. The target audience are mostly gamers who want to get a quick server up and running, especially for PUGs (pick-up groups in MMOs). Most guilds already have some type of voip server they setup or are subscribed to.

Hey all, I'm the author of this app. It's late here, but feel free to leave any questions and I'll answer when I can!

Awesome. I was actually just searching yesterday for a self-hosted snippet solution similar to Github Gists. Great job, Bitbucket!

Interesting. I know Mumble is used a lot in the gaming community, but I never thought of the idea of using it for workspace/business. I wrote a webapp targeted for gamers to easily setup temporary Mumble servers ( http://guil

Great project and I love the UI! I was actually just looking for an EDM discovery/explore app like this just yesterday. Bookmarked. :) Any information on the technology stack?

Also created something similar a while back for fun, except for short text messages with the option for encryption in Javascript using an implementation of blowfish. It saves the data encoded (or encrypted) as part of the url. Source with d

I feel like LinkedIn is an evil necessity. It's so bloated and I never feel comfortable navigating or viewing anything on LinkedIn due to their nature of trying to connect or send emails without your approval. I'd really like if t

This looks great. Thanks for making it open-source. I've tried other self-hosted chat apps, but this one looks promising. IRC integration would be great. :) When I was experimenting with websockets, I wanted to make a simple chat app t

Very cool project. I've played around with this same idea, but as a CLI package manager, rather than a webapp. I think it would be cool to have custom VPS image, where you can install webapps to it from the CLI out of the box easily. S

It looks great, congrats on shipping. Maybe an option to email an auth token in case the cookie is lost so you can continue editing? Or maybe just a password/key.

The appeal is the simplicity. And certainly there are users who would like a decently formatted HTML page without signing up; hence the whole "imgur for websites" approach.

I wrote a similar script (via aircrack) at a recent hackathon to gather wifi nodes, and group them up by their access point (or if they weren't connected to one). The data dump was then transformed into json and fed into a neat little

Same happened to one of my production nodes as well. I had to take a snapshot and migrate to another physical node as suggested by the support team. Had about 6 reboots without warning in the last 2 months. I love DO, but sometimes the rebo

Nice, clean website. Are you fulfilling the products yourself, or using a vendor? What are you using for the cropping tool? Well done! Congrats on shipping!

Yes, you just need to update your nameservers from your domain registrar to use Cloudflare's, instead of Digital Ocean. https://support.cloudflare.com/hc/en-us/sections/200038206-H...

This is great. Do you have any source code hosted anywhere? Or the software/hardware stack used?
