You are right that it is harder those days to find good quality content on YouTube. Most of the content you get presented is just click bait and optimised for monetarisation. However, the real issue here is the assumption that people need A

Congratulations. Zas looks very cool, I will definitely try it out and see if it can fill the (large) gap between Visual Studio Code and a full-featured IDE like Goland or CLion for me. Can you please give an outlook in which direction you

Since a few people already have mentioned Rectangle for Window management, I wanted to point out that there is also a payed version of it called Hookshot ( https://hookshot.app/ ). The same developer also offers a great app c

This might be the case for some users and basic use cases like surfing the web and text writing. But there are still a lot of issues for pro users and developers. If you rely on such a machine for your daily work, its not mature enough.

As much as I would like to get one of those M1 Macs, this is exactly the reason why I will wait for the 2nd generation of their processors. My Intel MacBook runs rock solid and stable. Until the ARM Macs haven't reached that level of s

Personally I don’t see a scenario for myself, but I can imagine that there are some where this might be useful. But isn’t there a extremely high risk of data loss an inconsistency when adding an extra layer on top of OS file system handling

Also using Firefox for years as my main browser. Can't complain. Never really considered switching, since there is no real alternative for me in today's browser market (especially in terms of privacy).

Perhaps I have misunderstood something, but the Docker engine remains free and open source. What annoys me is that they treat Windows & macOS users differently than Linux users. Linux Desktop users this doesn't impact at all. I hav

Idea behind Rga is cool. Anyway, I tried it on Mac and installed via Homebrew. The formula already says it depends on ripgrep (that's fine since I have ripgrep already installed and use it regularly). I still was surprised when I execu

Personally I like apps which provide both - a subscription and pay once model. I have no problem paying monthly for an app I use on a daily base. But I don’t want dozens of subscriptions for all my apps to run in parallel. The problem is th
