http://concurrency.ch/Content/publications/Blaeser_Component... This seems to scale out very well - it's kind of static GC analysis with RAII and erlang-style messaging.

This at first glance actually looks similar to http://liu.diva-portal.org/smash/get/diva2:20899/FULLTEXT01.... And this style of static analysis has been taken even further by Luc Blaeser: http://

This! I'd also argue that your formal verification language and your coding language are one and the same. This leads to the case where if you can specify your language, it is written. Obviously there are scenarios where it's not

The vid made me smile :) Yes, maru was conceived as part of the STEPS program, to provide a minimal runtime base for an OS. As such it's focus was on being able to produce DSLs for a higher level of abstraction, and hence needed to pro

I'm grateful for the interest! Not really thought about a location - I'll probably use my github account when I've got some material, and ping you when it's there. As an aside, most of the stuff I've on my account i

So there are languages that can do these things individually: Dedalus is an evolution of datalog, incorporating the notion of time in the type system. You're better off working with an abstract version of time, for portability reasons

Very nice project - thanks for sharing! How would you say this compares to maru, which does a similar thing? Maru uses gcc rather than Node.js or lua, and compiles it's own (x86) binaries. It focusses on as minimal syntax as possible,

Nice article, though it doesn't cover CORS with NTLM/Kerberos auth (ie. .NET on windows). To my mind this is the most baffling aspect here, as preflight requests shouldn't carry an auth token (according to the spec), however

The cubicboard could be considered the raspberry pi of the FPGA world: 168 gpio, 512mbit ram, cyclone V with 25k logic elements (huge, a nios 2 cpu uses 600LE!), usb, sd leds and pushbutton onboard - $39. https://code.google.com&
