I've opened 3 or 4 issues today on the project's Github page and all were closed in a matter or an hour or so. The author of the project is very receptive, so your point was also addressed: plaintext generation was added.

If you need the HTML templates to copy you can do so from here: https://github.com/wildbit/postmark-templates This project seems to be more specific, targeting Node users.

As a side-note, I heard that he gives players 2 days off after a match to relax. He supposedly says he is happy with their performance in the pitch and thus allowing them more time to recover.

In addition to what other people have said, the exact same thing could have happened even if the project was only hosted on Github. Github could receive a DMCA notice, take down the repo and buf.. gone.

It's more like a vocal minority rather then the "JS community". Apart from Angular && .NET people, Babel has the momentum.

I'm just wondering why not use npm scripts instead of Makefiles? They work in Windows as well and they're easier to understand (at least imo).

This looks like a fun experiment. Have you considered adding this as a Chrome plugin and make it "remember" what you drag? Also maybe implement some sort of "undo" mechanism as well? Thanks for sharing.

Browserify is so much easier to understand and interact with, I'm sticking with it as well.

For Netflix and Youtube people are just better off using a Chromecast. You can stick that into your TV (doesn't even have to be a smart TV actually) and your iPhone / Android can be the remote.

Line numbers don't help you with memory leaks, seeing the name of your function there does.

Do people really have to use firearms for self-defense? Is it that crucial? Can't they just use non-lethal stuff?

Well, you're definitely in for a treat with NPM 3. And I don't mean that in a good way.

It looks nice. I did a similar thing with a project of mine: https://github.com/alessioalex/reloadify It serves files and does livereload as well. Can be used programatically or as a CLI: `reloadify -f static -p 8080`.

Poorly written article in my opinion. The really big advantage of using Angular is that you're more productive: you write less code and it does more. As simple as that.
