I think this is a good answer. If you're really not in the mood to scratch your head over confusing reasons for why your program won't compile while learning the language, Rust is not what you want. While I have used Rust, I have

Makes me think of Kill Sticky [0], a small Javascript thing that attempts to remove all sticky headers on a page. But really, any sort of thing that blocks, as the Github README says, "annoying, user-hostile software", is a good p

I can agree with gofmt being great, but I can't agree that a simple newline before a brace should be treated as a syntax error. You're forced to use Google's coding style, whether you like it or not. Preferred coding style is

Yeah, that's how I feel about this. It's not coinbase's responsibility to act as a host to all cryptocurrencies. The article states, > An activist group, which claims Coinbase's decision is akin to a brokerage withhol

This looks really, REALLY cool. But as someone who lives in the terminal, it's not something I would use at all. To me , the fancy fontawesome glyphs PLUS the colors are information overload [1]. It really feels like overkill. I

This is the biggest cop-out of a reply. I hate it. OP has already stated: >I pay them. My work pays them. Github is raking in oodles of cash and they STILL can't keep their service up without going down, quoted from OP, "[e]ver

It feels like the reviewer wants a smartphone. This is not a smartphone, and it never claims to be. It's just a glossed-up version of the classic Nokia "dumb" phone - which is exactly all some people want/need.

Why do people make terminal-based programs like this in NodeJS? I'm not trying to be snarky - it's a legitimate question. This program is relatively resource-intensive, and you're using NodeJS of all things to try to render t

So just because you have a sought-after domain name, you can turn it in to greatness just because... you have a special domain name? This argument feels very vague and hand-wavy. I imagine execution of a good idea could do much more for you

follow-up: for a non-Perl person, who is incredibly interested in getting started with Perl 6, are there any good resources (code examples, blog posts exploring language concepts unique to Perl 6) that anyone would recommend?
