I think it's also that Mittens has a bias towards very aggressive rather than strictly optimal play?

I'm a big Rust fan in the sense that it's the language I go to nowadays to write anything serious. But it's quite a lot in terms of bootstrapping. Whereas this? Just the very basics, fully portable, pretty much any C compiler

Steiner preschool also entrusts children with knives to cut fruit (or at least mine did, back in the 90s). I would trust 5-7 year olds with knives unsupervised or semi-supervised more than 8-11 year olds and definitely more than 13-15 yea

Brake dust is less of an issue, but tyre dust is arguably worse (since EVs are near-unavoidably heavier than ICE equivalents).

And on the flip side, EVs tend to be heavier and therefore work their tyres even harder.

I'd typically use the term "vicious circle" for "things get getting worse because they keep getting worse" situations.

I use rcm. It assumes you keep a separate (potentially version-controlled) folder at ~/.dotfiles or similar, and it provides a suite of tools for managing the symlinks. https://github.com/thoughtbot/rcm

Thing is I seem to remember people saying "If we were going to build nuclear, the time to start was 15 years ago"... about 15 years ago.

Two party preferred is more a statistical count done on the assumption that {Labor, Coalition} = {Government, Opposition}. Of course it'll be decreasingly relevant now if the teals can stick.

Depends on your tradeoffs. If you elect, oh, 5 people in each district then your proportionality is still granular to about 17% of the vote in the district (for single member districts it's granular to about 50%, of course). And your d

Whether later-no-harm is a feature or a bug is the biggest difference, I think, between people who like STV/IRV and people who dislike it.

Definitely not holding my breath. Every time the Coalition say the magic words "national security" Labor jump without even stopping to ask "how high".

At least on my machine, it's a GNU Make... version 3.81. I can only assume that's the last of the GPLv2 licensed ones. Classic Apple.

And since then, development has continued on mrustc - it can now bootstrap Rust 1.54 directly (about 10 versions old as of now).

Queenslander here. Are you referring to intercity routes? Because all the private operators under TransLink (or qconnect) just tender to run the rotes in a specific service region.

The core Rust project (and consequently much of the ecosystem) is dual-licensed MIT or Apache-2.0, so it's not at all surprising to see that continue here.

Voltage supply levels vary a little bit from country to country and modern PSUs are built to accommodate that. My laptop PSU for example will take anything from 100V to 240V, at either 50Hz or 60Hz.
