Something like ^\s*(:\+1:|\+\d+)\s*\!*\s*$ Even something as simple as this would clean up most of threads like these: https://github.com/elastic/kibana/issues/1084

I think the funniest part is that the total number of meaningful lines in Redux source code is less than 250. Compare that to the supplied documentation with over 6,000 lines of Markdown. If you have any FP background, this is really noth

Yes but then you can map things more easily without having to create partials, and it's consistent with how all other methods work in Python (e.g. format method) >>> phrases = [['a', 'b', 'c'

What's wrong with `''.join()`? It's fine as is, I think, same logic as '{}'.format().

As someone who left academia after a PhD in math (been working as a quant in HFT for the last few years, which mostly involves coding in one form or another), I can totally relate! Back then, all those stochastic integrals and measures made

A little off topic, but it's possible to automatically resolve metaclass conflicts in cases like this (e.g. construct a minimal suitable metaclass on the fly) :)

Just use DOI of the article, then it's instant and bypasses Google search

I don't think that's feasible -- scihub requests articles directly from publishers (using legit accounts). Each requested article is cached by libnet.io, so articles are not re-requested twice

Is there a way to scale up the fonts for the UI of the whole app? On a 27'' screen it just begs for it. Is is possible to quickly switch a cell to a code format with a specified language? (triple backquotes? like ```python?)

There's an unobvious upside: HFTs generate liquidity. Liquidity is good for everyone in the end.

> But generally, musicians really hate the idea of having a machine writing all of their music for them. ... unless they develop the algo that writes the music. E.g., think Autechre and their Max/MSP patches?

Agreed, if you work with I/O, all the try!(try!(try!())) start making your eyes bleed. The ? suggestion is quite brilliant, been waiting for progress on that for a long time
