Ditto, droplets are great and stable (and, somewhat surprisingly, CPU-optimized ones seems to perform better on average than the equivalent from AWS). I've tried to make it work with Spaces for the last 6 months (NYC3), but it's j

I used to play Solace (a Dragonlance-based MUD) a lot from when I was 13 and for many years after. Looking back now, it helped me immensely with learning English as a foreign language and taught me to type very fast, so it was quite useful

Sometimes, choosing to use a library in the first place may also implicitly increase technical debt (in having to maintain this dependency, and even more so if this library shares dependencies with other dependencies that you have).

There’s also import ipdb; ipdb.set_trace() which drops you into ipython debugger shell which is largely superior to the default pdb, e.g. due to code completion (I’m not sure that’s what you meant). There’s also a %pdb magic which

+1 to not logging on to the company’s IM. Emailing somehow feels more ‘persistent’ so it’s unlikely that conversation like the one above would have happened in an email thread. Or, people have to come and talk to you in person; in which cas

I guess that is the whole point? I.e., you stop needing to be frugal and/or don’t have to count € when spending money on basic things like food or transportation. Also, more things become ‘basic’. Another point that makes a difference
