I've discussed it on HN previously, but out of college I took a position doing development on IBM zOS mainframes writing HLASM and COBOL. When I left that company after two years (around 2014), I was making roughly 75k. The salary band

I'd think it's far more likely that GiveSendGo doesn't have the most sophisticated and well maintained tech stack and an exploit was easily found by hacktivists engaging in defacement and doxxing.

Sam Harris summarized a fairly pragmatic view of the necessity of firearms which might explain to you why more ownership by citizens can be viewed as a positive (2013): https://samharris.org/the-riddle-of-the-gun/

fwiw, the supply chain seems to be recovering at least for ammo. ammo prices are down about 50% since the peak around Feb. anecdotally, you'd have to pay 90c/round for decent brass case 9mm, now you can get it for <40c/rou

From the insurance side: I found the throwaway's reference of MLR very confusing and seems to be misinformed about the ACA market and MLR caps in particular. Exchange plans are just about the most price sensitive insurance product I ca

Thank you for the link. This definitely mirrors what I had seen last year and if that didn't come across it was a failure on my part. That said, I believe a lot of those furloughed employees have since returned: https://www.

As expected, it's BS: https://twitter.com/donk_enby/status/1348666166978424832 Seems jason scott's archive team, using existing tooling they built for scraping, scraped parler before it went down.

This was my take on reading the wild "2nd hand story" in that reddit post. Almost none of it makes any sense; instead it seems like people just crawled parler's public API and saved the responses into a big archive ("the

AFAICT, it can't even get adoption in darknet markets. Aside from extortion and ransoms which are still bitcorns, you're unlikely to use anything but monero, zcash or maybe eth for illicit purchases these days.

Out of curiosity, how is the fee structure of DoorDash compared to something like Seamless? A few years ago I would routinely use Seamless to order delivery or carry out 3-4x a week, but in the past year or so I noticed enormous service fee

Assuming you mean the 2016 iPhone SE, in the US you cannot buy it from a retail store - it is not presently available on the market as new stock (that i'm aware of). You can only get them used, refurbed, or maybe NoS if you're luc
