I've been dreaming of this for a long time now... holy crap. This is as close as we have to the Black & White (lionhead x EA) god feeling, except for beating up your cow/monkey/etc of course. Can't wait to try it out

I guess it makes the certificate itself seem more valuable as a means of expressing that you accomplished something. My view of edX is biased though by how awesome CS50 is, it feels more like a movement than a class.

I've googled seemingly tons of different combinations of keywords to find out if a product like yours existed before starting to build it myself. Which search keywords most often lead users to coursebuffet? (and how did I miss them!) I

I don't know if this reflects poorly on Uber or current taxi legislation. Living in Québec I've never had a bad experience with taxi drivers the way people seem to have in NYC, etc. Uber was still far better, if anything just for

I'm also an immigrant in Québec (and Québec City), I've been here for 17 years though so I basically grew up a Québecois after having been a little German boy and being born in Bosnia. Where are you from originally?

First time seeing my province on HN. Swearing in Québec feels like an extension of your body and even the most well spoken people give in to the treat that are our swear words. I'm always reminded of this quote from the Matrix trilogy

I think the serverless(ish) space is headed in an exciting direction overall, especially if we can drastically reduce wasted compute time. I'm watching your repo and hopefully will get inspired! Thanks for the reply Jim

I just finished setting up my personal site with Hugo+S3+Lambda yesterday. Lambda runs Hugo when the S3 bucket detects a file change, takes about 5000 ms per blog post which is fractions of a penny. Although this adds a bit of complexity co

I'm building a fun little service based on storing the hash of a document created by user input. I think it can be very useful and even fun if presented the right way.

I'd go with effectively being able to dumb down complex concepts while correctly understanding the limitations of the project. You don't have to be able to replicate a tech project to get a correct understanding of all its parts.
