As someone who worked for an MSP during the pandemic for a large variety of different businesses... it's figured out. VPN, email, OneDrive/SharePoint, videoconferencing. Unless your job is "guy who gives hugs to people in the

Sorry, 63% of browser usage is dominant, but not a monopoly by any means. The web is just as accessable on other browsers.

If I listened to all of my vendors when they say this I'd have 12 physical servers rather than 2. This is nonsense as long as you pay attention to your loads.

Not an amount that even remotely matters. Traffic in a day is probably many orders of magnitude more than these put out in a year.

Out of curiosity I've watched some of these. 50% of them, I can't even figure out what they're supposed to be. The other day I saw one where a girl was taking a selfie near the water. A guy picking up trash walked near her, s

I don't know what I'm missing, but looking at the 53 English words I'm not seeing anything that can't be translated. "Tall", "You're welcome". I'm sorry what?

Work from home. I worked at an MSP and we were remote for a year. Then when Covid started to pull back a bit they forced us all back to the office. To work remotely. From the office. Took me about 2 months to find a remote job with an extra

I think this is what you're trying to do: Y = (X + information) + X diff Y (This is kind of golden ratio-ish, imo) It seems to be self referential which doesn't make it impossible, just maybe impossible. I think the trick here wou

Merely a matter of degree? There is a chasm between stealing data and printing nonsense to stdout. That's like saying getting all your limbs cut off is technically a flesh wound and the only difference between that and a papercut is th

That's exactly backwards. He wasn't granted permission to run code on other people's machines, he granted other people the right to run his code on their machines! Wow!

The fact that you think you can just run whatever code not written by you on your servers is insane. The fact that you think protest should be able to be ignored is insane. The whole point of protest is disruption.

Actually I think the brussel sprouts is an apt analogy. People got so used to the M&Ms they stopped looking into the bowl and just ate whatever they plucked out of it. I think that's a perfect analogy.

Nah. Ringo just is objectively bad at art. That's ok. You don't have to call it modern art. It's utter trash. He's not even trying. There's 0 self awareness here. But that probably happens when you're a Beatle

This is hilarious. Someone was trying to take over your account and you're pissed at Google. Turning on MFA and attaching it to the threat actors device is the first step in ransoming your account. Get a clue and use MFA for everything
