Initially Meteor didn't have any support for testing apps. Since it has always had support for testing packages, teams generally had to split their app up into several private packages to allow for testing (with benefits to modularity

I would guess dehydration also played a not insignificant part in your symptoms. When it happened to me (dehydration, not sleep deprivation), the extreme fatigue was the weirdest part. Surreal and disturbing how little I could move.

In this case, I think the more accurate example would be Meteor + React [1]. You can still show the "wait for data to be ready" state as you described. (For those interested, follow the linked tutorial.) The Kadira team have eve

I don't have the perspective yet to compare this to other works on OTP but this book may be of value to you: "Designing for Scalability with Erlang/OTP" [1]. It is co-authored by Francesco Cesarini, founder of Erlang So

The Meteor framework [1] uses this to good effect to support latency compensation. You can optionally choose to include Meteor methods (ajax-style remote endpoints) on the client. Then when the method is called, the client-side version is

I'd suggest, "The Tough Parts", as you mention in the preface. Not sure who your target market is but as a professional developer who writes javascript daily, "The Tough Parts", piques my curiosity and sounds like a

No argument here. OP specifically mentioned advanced typing, tooling, and distribution. Rust covers at least two out of the three (can't speak to tooling) so I thought OP might like to explore it a bit.

You may wish to explore Rust - http://www.rust-lang.org/ . I can't speak to tooling but it has advanced typing and ease of distribution seems similar to Go. Edit: mea culpa for my attempt at tongue-in-cheek humor, &qu

Very nice work. Given the prevalence of Bootstrap and Foundation, it would probably help adoption if there were options with those as the base styling lib. I know there is a lot of work in the custom sass here and this is currently a one-m

I imagine you would do what erlang does for you, just manually - isolate individual server instances, do the update, then make them public again. Say for example you are updating code in your service's web-tier. Have your LBs not send
