As an owner of a Mac Mini from 5 or 6 years ago, I am fairly confident in guessing that this refers to what Apple calls “Mini DisplayPort with Audio”. My Mac Mini can use a Mini DP to HDMI adapter just fine — but it won’t include audio. New

(“After me, the flood.”) Indeed, that is incredibly cool. Super tangential, but there is a very enjoyable Regina Spektor song titled “Après Moi” with the full phrase as a refrain.

1) Make an argument. This isn’t one. 2) Why suggest a prompt that doesn’t give the user an understanding of what they are being asked and why it matters?

My work is blacklisting this domain (eyaltro.net) for malware — this URL works for me: http://colinoflynn.com/iotworm/ (Is it the same content?)

Valerie Tarico has written about it, and she has her head screwed on straight (which I think means she’s reputable)! She's an excellent writer. However, maybe BuzzFeed needs to do a listicle on Vasalgel, or Cosmo needs to put it in Sna

Where you are wrong, I think, is that “the presentation IS the content” is a common belief among “designers” but almost never the belief of users.

There is precedent for Microsoft to release patches on days other than Tuesday (they call this “going out of band”) when an exploit is being used in the wild, especially if it is wormable. (This was the case for the hole that was later expl

I believe Apple never used the blue convention on their MacBook Pros. I think they even mocked the competitors for uglifying their devices this way. Hell, I’m writing this on an rMBP with USB 3 and it uses a white plastic bit.

There’s a distinct trend of YouTube commenters who believe that the Surface (tablet) is somehow a descendent of the Surface table, just because their names are the same. Interesting. Funny video — thanks for sharing.

For the kids out there: “original Surface” isn’t what you think. It was a “smart table” and its most compelling use case was to present a menu right underneath your place setting: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zxk_WywMTzc
