Please don’t downvote ocdtrekkie just because you disagree with him/her… that’s what replies are for. Downvote comments that don’t add to the conversation. I’m here to say I am uncomfortable with e.g. GoDaddy censoring their users, too

U and I are adjacent on QWERTY. Easy typo. Even worse pick-up line. “Hey baby, I prefer QWERTY because it puts U and I together.”

A commentator on Arslan's post mentions “Medium’s foolproof wysiwyg editor.” This surprised me. I find their WYSIWYG editor to be incredibly frustrating, counter-intuitive, limiting, and obnoxious. Allow me to belabor only the last poi

Haha, true. I use Preview all the time for cropping, converting, and annotating images. You can even fill out, draw on, and annotate PDFs in Preview.

Consider the OS X equivalent, TextEdit. In contrast to Notepad, it remains fairly minimal while being upgraded to always use and showcase the latest OS X APIs and design standards.

The other killer feature that is still missing is multi-line regex with inline comments. I know, you shouldn't be writing big regexes if possible… but when you need to, it's so nice to be able to actually explain what the heck you

It was the future… so many CoffeeScript niceties (spread operators, destructured assignment, class syntax, ARROW FUNCTIONS) were subsequently mainlined into ES6.

what a facile interpretation. CoffeeScript offered a large number of meaningful improvements over ES5, not including superficial syntax differences. It _still_ offers truly meaningful niceties that can make code _better_ than the JavaScript

I don’t have a problem with passphrases per se, but when people make them up via their noggin, they aren’t random and aren’t likely to include many obscure words. Using only common words dramatically reduces entropy. E.g., there are only
